If anyone has any 2 year postgraduate diploma course degree, and that person gives NEET PG again, now he/she gets the same branch of MD/MS, then he/she is directly SECOND YEAR RESIDENT. (That means - he/she will be appearing for final exam of MD/MS after 2 years, while his/her batchmates will be appearing for final exam after 3 years) For example, if one person has already done D.G.O. (NMC) (Diploma in Gynecology & Obstetrics), if that person, after giving NEETPG, gets MD/MS ObGy, now that person has to do the course for 2 years, instead of 3 years.
