The characteristic clinical finding in Klumpke's paralysis is a complete claw hand.
Klumpke's paralysis is caused by injury of the lower trunk of the brachial plexus-mainly T1
and partially C8, due to traction injury of the lower trunk that may be seen in undue
abduction of the arm (outstretched arm grabbing an object during a fall from height) or
birth injury (traction of the extended arm during delivery)
