Papal Nuncio’s Secretary Bids Farewell to Zimbabwe Fr. Felipe Fabiane, Secretary to the Papal Nuncio, has ended his three-year tenure in Zimbabwe and is set to begin his new mission in Paraguay. A farewell reception was held at the Nunciature in Harare, attended by Archbishop Robert Ndlovu, Bishop Rudolf Nyandoro, clergy, and religious. Archbishop Janusz Urbańczyk praised Fr. Fabiane’s dedication and presented him with artwork depicting Zimbabwean culture and wildlife. In his speech, Fr. Fabiane recalled overcoming initial fears about Zimbabwe, saying he felt blessed to serve in a peaceful and vibrant Church. Reflecting on his time, he noted how the Church in Zimbabwe is deeply intertwined with the country’s history and culture. With humour, he admitted he regretted not learning Shona! We wish Fr.
