Role - This role is primarily responsible for execution and control of Instrument Maintenance Systems to increase Reliability (i.e. minimum downtime), Cost Effectiveness and efficiency to achieve the business targets of the plant. Responsibilities: Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance of instruments. Trouble shooting of instruments. Route Cause and effect analysis. Ensure timely completion of Calibration schedule and preventive maintenance schedule of instruments. Codify and standardize instrument spares. Maintain software program backups of instrumentation systems. Ensure compliance of statutory requirements pertaining to Instrument instrumentation in consultation with HOD- Instrumentation. Ensure availability of spares for maintenance of Instrumentation. To Maintain Housekeeping standards in department. Ensure compliance of necessary safety requirements while carrying out job. Ensure proper keep-up and storage of instruments. Upgrade PM checklist based on failure analysis/modifications/experience. Prepare failure analysis document. Maintain history of critical instruments in SAP. Provide training to Manager / Asst. Manager. Expected Technical/Functional Skills - Technical knowledge of plant operation. Analytical skills Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills High level of interpersonal skills Understanding of business environment EHS Norms & it's impact on Business. Experienced in fault finding & troubleshooting of Fully Automatic bagging machine & Palletizer will be preferred. Required qualification and experience: BE/BTech – Instrumentation Engineer with 5 - 12 years of experience from Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil & Gas industries for our Continuous, High Capacity, High Pressure plants.
