Let's brush up some rules of Gujarat: - MCC will send the list of candidates joined upto MCC round 3, Gujarat will remove those candidates before processing Gujarat round 3 result. *SAME WAY, ALL STATES WILL SEND THE LIST OF CANDIDATES JOINED UPTO STATE ROUND 3 TO MCC, MCC WILL REMOVE THOSE CANDIDATES FROM MCC STRAY ROUND.* 1. So, once you hold your Gujarat seat (of round 1 or 2 or 3) *upto end of Gujarat round 3*- you're not eligible for MCC stray round as well as Gujarat stray round. You cannot resign too. 2. If you're holding a Gujarat round 2 seat by reporting at help center - if you're not upgraded from Gujarat round 2 to Gujarat round 3, YOU CANNOT RESIGN. You'll compulsorily have to continue at the branch & college you're in. You cannot go to stray round of MCC/Gujarat either. 3. If you're holding a Gujarat round 1 seat by reporting at help center - not upgraded from Gujarat round 1 to Gujarat round 2 & now not upgraded to Gujarat round 3, you cannot resign, cannot go to MCC stray, cannot go to Gujarat stray. 4. If you're upgraded from Gujarat round 2 to Gujarat round 3 & decide not to report at help center now, you cannot participate in Gujarat stray round & further rounds of Gujarat, not even by registering again. ( You might still be eligible for MCC stray - that's not clear. Most probably, Gujarat will send list of ONLY JOINED - i.e. REPORTED AT HELP CENTER - CANDIDATES UPTO ROUND 3. Gujarat might not send the list of ALLOTTED but NOT JOINED - i.e. NOT REPORTED TO HELP CENTER - to MCC, so these candidates will be allowed to go to MCC stray. Anyways, they won't be allowed for Gujarat stray & further - that's for sure) 5. If you're not holding any seat of Gujarat, and now allotted a new seat in Gujarat round 3 & decide not to report to help center , you cannot participate in Gujarat stray round & further rounds of Gujarat, not even by registering again. (You might still be eligible for MCC stray - that's not clear. Most probably, Gujarat will send list of ONLY JOINED - i.e. REPORTED TO HELP CENTER - CANDIDATES UPTO ROUND 3. Gujarat might not send the list of ALLOTTED but NOT JOINED - i.e. not reported to help center - to MCC, so these candidates will be allowed to go to MCC stray. Anyways, they won't be allowed for Gujarat stray & further - that's for sure) 6. If you're allotted a new seat in Gujarat round 3 & decide to report to the seat by going to help center, then you cannot resign, cannot go further to Gujarat stray round, cannot go further to MCC stray too. - SO, ALL IN ALL, TO SUMMARISE : - 1) IF YOU CONTINUE MCC SEAT UPTO MCC ROUND 3, YOU CANNOT GO FURTHER TO ANY COUNSELLING & CANNOT RESIGN. - 2) IF YOU CONTINUE GUJARAT SEAT UPTO GUJARAT ROUND 3, YOU CANNOT GO FURTHER TO ANY COUNSELLING & CANNOT RESIGN. What about MCC round 3 allotted but not reported candidates, are they allowed for Gujarat round 3? - Nothing has been mentioned in bulletin, but many people called at Gujarat committee - Gujarat committee said we'll allow these candidates for Gujarat round 3. (So, unless there's some new rule from MCC, Gujarat *will allow* those candidates) (anyways, if Gujarat decides not to allow these candidates, Gujarat would have notified that by now.
