The priest's duty was to stand and minister in the temple on behalf of the people, yet Jesus, after fully purging our sins, sat down at the right hand of God (Hebrews 1:3). His finished work is perfect, powerful, and far superior to the Levitical priesthood. His victory is far superior and His grace is sufficient, He is the ULTIMATE HIGH PRIEST!
