*Dentist - Sunningdale 2 Medical Centre* * ◼️ Sunningdale 2 Medical Centre ◼️Expires: 20 Feb 2025 ◼️ Full Time ◼️ Harare Healthcare *Job Description* Sunningdale Medical Center in Harare seeks a DENTIST TO PARTNER WITH on Full - Time Basis. *Duties and Responsibilities* • Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient’s health • Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues • Providing cosmetic services like teeth whitening, bonding and veneers to enhance the appearance of teeth • Filling cavities, performing root canals, applying crowns and installing bridges and implants to fix broken and missing teeth • Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health • Interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care • Measuring and fitting dental appliances • In-depth knowledge of the current standards of care for dentistry and the latest oral health treatments available • Observational skills to diagnose oral health problems based on the findings of exams and X-rays • Ability to remain upright for long periods while treating patients • Interpersonal skills to put patients at ease and encourage positive interactions during appointments • Strong oral communication skills to convey clear instructions to both patients and assisting staff • Computer skills to utilize computer-aided dentistry equipment and medical records software • Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment, such as mouth mirrors, probes, drills, scalers and curettes • Up-to-date knowledge on patient safety, infection control and privacy laws and regulations *Qualifications and Experience* 1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. 2. Minimum of 2-4 years of practising as a Dentist. 3. Valid practising certificate 4. Proven experience as a Dentist. 5. Ability to work under pressure. 6. Good communication skills. 7. Teamwork skills. 8. Good administrative and managerial abilities.
