*Amalgamation of RRBs in 12 states:-* Earlier it was the proposal of the authorities to issue amalgamation notification to give effect from 01.04.2025. Now it is learnt that due to some urgent reasons the effective date may be shifted to latest by 01.07.2025. However, notification may be issued any time in between so that preparatory works may be completed satisfactorily. Our units may by this time try to get pending promotions, recruitment etc completed by the management before the effective date of amalgamation.
