Breaking news: Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum has said she and US President Donald Trump have agreed to put tariffs on hold for a month following a phone call on Monday morning.
Sheinbaum said her government had agreed to send 10,000 National Guard troops to its northern border to stop drug trafficking, in particular of fentanyl. She said the two countries would begin work on security and trade today.
