UET Celebrates 104 Years with a Unique Tribute to its Alma Mater Students Create Historical Photomontage by Forming "UET 104" UET Media Society (UMS) Organizes Event with Students to Mark the Milestone January 30, 2025 Lahore ( ) The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, marked the completion of its 104-year academic journey with the organization of a photomontage. In a unique tribute to their alma mater, dozens of students from various departments came together to form the number "UET 104" and capture a historic image. The UET Media Society organized the event by arranging the students in an orderly fashion on the central ground. Throughout the day, a range of activities took place, with students also setting up stalls. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Shahid Munir, graced the occasion as the chief guest and visited the student stalls. Deans from various faculties, Heads of teaching and administrative departments, Director of Student Affairs Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Public Relations Officer Dr. Tanveer Qasim, and Society Advisor Ahmad Naveed were also present at this occasion. In his remarks, Dr. Shahid Munir emphasized the significant achievements of UET over its 104-year history in the field of education. He praised the hard work of the students and the dedication of the faculty members. He also commended the efforts of the UET Media Society’s advisor and members in organizing the event and preserving the memory of this remarkable milestone.
