🎓 Celebrating Excellence at GCU’s 23rd Convocation 🎓 The first day of the 23rd Convocation at Government College University Lahore was a proud moment as PhD degrees were conferred in various disciplines and academic medals were awarded to outstanding MS/MPhil graduates. This year, 3,078 graduates are being celebrated, including: - 86 PhDs - 941 MS/MPhil degrees - 2,013 BA/BSc (Hons) degrees Four exceptional faculty members, Prof. Dr. Sultan Shah, Prof. Dr. Shahida Batool, Dr. Ahmad Raza, and Dr. Muhammad Afzal, were honored with the Best University Teacher Award for their remarkable contributions to academia. In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah highlighted the importance of strengthening social sciences and humanities alongside science and technology, paving the way for holistic national development. Tomorrow’s sessions will include the awarding of 125 Co-Curricular and 12 Sports Rolls of Honour, recognizing students for their achievements beyond academics.
