Allama Iqbal Open University has been re-elected as the President of the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual/Open Universities (CINVU) Executive Committee for the second sonsecutive term! The Fourth General Assembly Meeting of the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual/Open Universities (CINVU) was held from February 4-5, 2025, at Payame Noor Open University in Tehran, Iran. Open and Virtual Universities from 57 Islamic countries participated in the meeting, both physically and online. During the event, member states elected new members to the CINVU Executive Committee for the next four years. In recognition of AIOU's outstanding contributions to quality education and its active role within CINVU, AIOU was unanimously elected as an Executive Committee member. Subsequently, the elected committee members elected Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood as the Chair/President of the CINVU Executive Committee for the upcoming term (2025-2029). Notably, AIOU has been a founding member of CINVU since 2018 and is now serving its second consecutive term as the President/Chair of the Executive Committee, reaffirming its leadership and commitment to advancing virtual and open education across the Islamic world. #cinuv #virtualeducation #openlearning #educationalleadership
