❇️ 1 February 🛳 Indian Coast Guard Day      भारतीय तटरक्षक दिवस Motto -  "वयम रक्षामः" (We Protect") ⛴ To appreciate the remarkable role played by the service in securing the nation's interests in the maritime zones. ⛴This year, India is celebrating its 48th Indian Coast Guard Day. ⛴ The Union Cabinet approved the setting up of a 'Coast Guard' in 1977 with two frigates and five patrol boats transferred from the Indian Navy.
