**Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pulled Pork**
Tender Pulled Pork in a Sweet and Savory Honey Garlic Sauce
**Ingredients:**
- 3 lbs pork shoulder (or pork butt)
- 1/3 cup honey 🍯
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
**Directions:**
1. Pat the pork shoulder dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on all sides.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, apple cider vinegar, ginger, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
3. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture over the top.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4–5 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
6. Serve warm on buns, over rice, or as a filling for tacos.
