                            The latest PLFS data shows that only 3.7% of Indians had formal vocational training in 2022-23. Compare that to 52% in the US, 80% in Japan, and a whopping 96% in South Korea! 
*The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) aimed to train 50 lakh apprentices by 2020, but by 2022, only 20 lakhs were trained.
