The Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde joined Rachel Maddow and responded to comments made by President Trump — who criticized her appeal to "have mercy" on constituents, specifically naming LGBTQ people and immigrants.
"We don't have to go to the highest extremes of contempt when we are in a position of disagreement," Bishop Budde said.
