This castle ONLY cost $1.5 million, but there's a catch: it's a real fixer-upper. The ruins of the New York home built by Abercrombie & Fitch co-founder David Abercrombie has found a buyer for that modest price, but they'll need to put in some work before it returns to its regal glory. The stone mansion in Ossining, New York, is located on 23 acres of wooded land in the Hudson Valley. Built in 1927, the 4,850-square-foot home is uninhabitable and requires a full renovation. The bones include a castle-like facade with a metal skeleton, pitched ceilings, a cast-iron staircase leading to a turret, stained-glass windows and an enclosed courtyard with a fireplace.
