Role Overview The head cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food for 140 personnel. Cook Job Duties - Check freshness of food and ingredients - Supervise and Coordinate activities of Assistant Cooks and other food preparation workers - Develop recipes and determine how to present the food - Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals - Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality - Train and supervise Assistant Cooks and other preparation workers - Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies - Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards Qualifications - Applicant should have a minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level Subjects including English Language - In addition, the Applicants must have a National Certificate in Professional Cookery or equivalent - At-least 3 years’ experience post qualification experience as cook is a requirement How to Apply All interested candidates can send their CV’s to email: [email protected] or whatsapp 0776172267 (send CV only no calling or chatting).
