Zion Christian Church To: All Church Members Sub: Weekly focus for Wednesday Date: 30 January 2025 We thank the grace of the God of Zion who gives us life. Our focus is on the following message: *1. Womenfolk, do people gather in your homes to pray, or only gossipers and troublemakers gather there [Acts 12 vs 12]* Ladies, who among you has a house that is said to be a house of prayer, like Mary's house where people used to gather and pray [Acts 12 vs 12] Some people’s houses do not have anyone who gathers to pray, and when people do gather it is either: - To gossip - To express disapproval - To conspire bad things. The question is, if only evil plotters gather in your house [Psalms 1 vs 1) then how can blessings make their way into that house? And why do people favor your house to discuss bad things? This alone should prompt you to reflect as a Woman of Fellowship. The residence of a ZCC member should host people said to attend Cell prayer meetings, tabernacle gatherings, or even praise and worship sessions; that is how it will be blessed.  *Awareness campaign:* - As we approach Easter, let us proceed with our Atonement payment (Kota) and first complete these offerings for our families. - Let us ensure all the Sunday School children attend the Easter conference opening during their congregation. - Children aged five (5) and below are advised to drink one cup of black coffee to prevent the reported stomach ailment as announced in Harare.
