Job Title: Architectural Draftsman Job Summary Our Client is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods. Key Responsibilities 1. Prepare and modify architectural drawings and models: Using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), create and modify detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. 2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders: Work closely with the design team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. 3. Conduct site visits: Visit construction sites to gather information and verify design accuracy. 5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments: Stay current with industry developments, software updates, and best practices. Requirements 1. Diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or related field: A diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is required. 2. 2+ years of experience in architectural drafting: A minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural drafting is required. 3. Proficiency in CAD software: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is required. 4. Strong understanding of architectural principles: A strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods is required. 5. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are required. Nice to Have 1. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM): Experience with BIM is an asset. 2. Knowledge of sustainable design principles: Knowledge of sustainable design principles is an asset. 3.
