This is the Gajāranya Kṣētram, renowned for this Svāmi'sunique significance. In the Ambāl sannidhi here, Mahā Periyavā did the puṅa pratiṣṭhā of Ambāl's Tāṭaṅkā in 1909 and again in 1923 with His divya hastā when He was 15 years old and again in 1923 with great attention and care. Before that, our Pūrvācāryās conducted it; they spent 5000 rupees for this yātrā and the Tāṭaṅkā Pratiṣṭhā in 1844, as mentioned in the records in Modi script ( a Marathi language script) preserved in the Sarasvati Mahāl of Tanjore. According to those records, the then Periyava conducted the Veda Parāyaṇams and grandly organized the Tāṭaṅkā Pratiṣṭā Mahotsavam. Our Periyavā conducted the same in 1909 and 1923, and before His 100th year, in 1992, the Tāṭaṅkā Pratiṣṭā was performed, and our Pudhu Periyavā conducted it, and we were also present at that time. Ācāryā elaborately describes the mahimā of Ambāl's Tāṭaṅkā in the Saundaryalaharī thus, सुधामप्यास्वाद्य प्रतिभयजरामृत्युहरिणीं विपद्यन्ते विश्वे विधिशतमखाद्या दिविषदः । (sudhāmapyāsvādya pratibhayajarāmṛtyuhariṇīṃ vipadyante viśve vidhiśatamakhādyā diviṣadaḥ |) करालं यत्क्ष्वेलं कबलितवतः कालकलना न शम्भोस्तन्मूलं तव जननि ताटङ्कमहिमा ॥ karālaṃ yatkṣvelaṃ kabalitavataḥ kālakalanāna śambhostanmūlaṃ tava janani tāṭaṅkamahimā || Similarly, चतुर्भिः श्रीकण्ठैः शिवयुवतिभिः पञ्चभिरपि प्रभिन्नाभिः शम्भो: नवभिरपि मूलप्रकृतिभिः । caturbhiḥ śrīkaṇṭhaiḥ śivayuvatibhiḥ pañcabhirapi prabhinnābhiḥ śambho: navabhirapi mūlaprakṛtibhiḥ | चतुश्चत्वारिंशद्वसुदलकलाश्रत्रिवलय त्रिरेखाभिः सार्धं तव शरणकोणाः परिणताः catuścatvāriṃśadvasudalakalāśratrivalaya trirekhābhiḥ sārdhaṃ tava śaraṇakoṇāḥ pariṇatāḥ Thus, He has done a detailed Śrīcakra Varṇanā in the Saundaryalaharī. #kamakoti #jagadguruvacanam #tadankapratistamahotsava
