Harlso’s wheels were made by a gentleman named Bob. Hes a retired engineer who I believe was a university lecturer in Canada for many years. He works from his garage (for free) making wheels and prosthetics for disabled animals. I’ve had the pleasure of a cup of tea in his garage and the man is a genius, what he can do with limited funds, supplies and equipment is nothing short of amazing! I returned the wheels earlier this week to Bob hoping they could be re-used. He said demand is the highest it’s ever been and he can’t work quick enough. I did ask him about enjoying retirement and he recognises that he can’t go on forever. He hopes to find someone one day who will carry on his work. I hope he does! This equipment enhances quality of life so much for disabled animals giving them back fun and freedom❤️
