The Union Budget 2025 has allocated ₹13,416.2 crore to the Department of Space, a rise from ₹13,042.7 crore last year. ₹6,103.6 crore is for capital expenditure, while ₹7,312.6 crore is for revenue. ISRO’s NSIL funding increased to ₹1,030 crore. The government also removed customs duties on key satellite and launch vehicle components, promoting innovation and boosting India’s space industry.
