VACANCY NOTICE: CASHIER (HARARE) A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Department for the position of Cashier. The incumbent will be reporting to the Financial Accountant. Responsibilities • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer. • Processing refunds and exchanges. • Maintaining adequate change denominations and requesting additional change • Reconciling cash drawers and sales receipts • Responding to and resolving customer complaints and concerns. • Scanning and bagging items accurately and efficiently • Staying up to date with advertisements and product information Person Specification • Diploma or Higher National Certificate in Accounting • Good team player • 2 years working experience in a similar role. • Ability to speak fluent English. • Basic analytical and statistical skills • Strong problem solving and operational abilities. • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication and presentation skills • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
