Gold prices in India jumped by Rs 1,300, reaching an all-time high of Rs 89,400 per 10 grams on Thursday (Feb 13) due to heavy buying by jewellers and retailers, as per the All India Sarafa Association. Previously, gold of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 88,100 per 10 grams. Now its around 87200 per gm.
