Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is set to make history as the first Indian astronaut to travel to the International Space Station (ISS). Shukla, a Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot, will join a crew led by former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, who will serve as mission commander. 2. Wash the wound with soap and warm water. Gently press a clean cloth over the wound to stop the flow of blood. Apply an antibacterial ointment to the wound. Cover with a sterile bandage. Seek help of doctor if you suspect infection or possible exposure to rabies, or if the wound is severe.
