Before The World Began
Psalms 139:16 - “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
I Corinthians 2:7 - “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:”
Ephesians 1:4 - “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”
II Thessalonians 2:13 - “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:”
II Timothy 1:9 - “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,”
Revelation 13:8 - “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Revelation 17:8 - “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
Everything has happened in the mind of God before the world even began. It is how Christ was slain before the world began. The Script is playing out in our time and space. The man on the cross was in "Paradise" that day... which was before Christ had risen physically in our time. Paradise is not being in some holding place separated from God... Paradise is heaven with the Lord. Absent from the body is to be with the Lord.
II Corinthians 5:8 - “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
Hebrews 4:3 - “For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”
Ecclesiastes 3:15 - “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.”
Acts 15:18 - “Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.”
