*J&K Home Department Directs DDOs to Prepare DA 3% Arrear Bills by February 9* Srinagar, February 5, 2025 – The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department, including J&K Police, has directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to prepare arrear bills for the recently approved 3% Dearness Allowance (DA) hike. According to the official directive, the DA arrear bills are to be generated on JKPaySys from February 5, 2025, onwards. All concerned DDOs must ensure the submission of these bills, along with a summary sheet, to their designated authorities by or before February 9, 2025, following the same procedure as monthly salary bills. This move comes as part of the government’s commitment to timely disbursement of revised allowances for employees. All officials are urged to adhere strictly to the timeline to avoid any delays in processing payments.
