ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ *Why Do We Send Salutations Upon The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم.* إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا Indeed, Allāh showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allāh’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace. Surah al-Ahzāb, al-āyah 56 Shaykh ‘Abdur-Rahmān as-Sa‘di [may Allah have mercy on him] said: “[We send salutations upon the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ due to] following the example of Allāh and His Angels, as a reward to him for some of the rights that he has over you, so as to perfect and complete your faith and to venerate, love and honour him صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ, and as a means of increasing your good deeds and as an expiation for your bad deeds.” Tayseer ul-Kareem ar-Rahmān, 1/671 | Shaykh Abdur-Rahmān as-Sa‘di [may Allāh have mercy on him] ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️ﷺ♥️
