Mohammad Hussain from Tangole Suru has been honored with a prestigious award and an appreciation certificate on Republic Day for his remarkable achievement in summiting Nun Kun Peak, one of the highest and most challenging mountains in India. His successful ascent has brought both pride and recognition to the region, highlighting his dedication and resilience in the field of mountaineering. Agha Ainul Huda, Councillor of Parkachick Constituency congratulated Mohammad Hussain on receiving the award and certificate. “Huge congratulations to Mohammad Hussain from Tangole Suru for receiving this well-deserved recognition. Your determination and hard work are an inspiration to us all. We are proud of your achievement and look forward to supporting your future endeavors,” said Councillor Agha Ainul Huda. Councillor Agha Ainul Huda also expressed his gratitude to Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) Dr. Jaffer of LAHDC Kargil, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kargil, and Executive Councillor for Tourism Shri Janab Kacho Feroz for recognizing Mohammad’s exceptional accomplishment and their continued support for such inspiring feats in the region.
