Encounter at Dera Baba Nanak: Two Gangsters of Jeewan Fauji injured in Police Retaliation. Batala Police had arrested 2 gangsters associates of Jiwan Fauji, both main culprits in the recent extortion and firing case at PS Dera Baba Nanak. During interrogation, the accused revealed a location for weapon recovery. However, during the operation, they opened fire on the Police. In the ensuing retaliatory action, both accused sustained gunshot injuries.
