Good Morning dear faculties, As per the BOE from VTU, these are the points on yesterdays difficult paper. Note: Clarification on VTU AI Paper BCS515B (22 Jan 2025) Dear Sir/Madam, It has been alleged that the AI Paper BCS515B contained out-of-syllabus questions. However, this claim is untrue and baseless. As faculty members, we have always prioritized guiding students effectively. We have provided direct questions and shared a comprehensive question bank with them. The fact remains that all the questions included in the paper are from the prescribed syllabus, specifically from the exercise section.I kindly request our faculties to refer to the *exercise section of Russell's textbook,* where these questions are clearly present. I have personally verified this in the textbook’s exercise section. The key takeaway here is that *we must move beyond the traditional approach of solely relying on previous question papers* and sharing question banks for internal assessments. Instead, we should create a learning environment that *encourages students to explore new concepts and gain knowledge independently, rather than depending on pre-prepared notes and answers.* Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that *there is no error on the part of the question paper setters* or the scrutinizer (BoE).
