ETL Testing: Understand and analyze data source systems, data mappings, and transformation logic to design effective ETL test cases. Validate data extraction from source systems, including data volume, format, and completeness. Verify data transformation logic within the ETL process, including calculations, data cleansing, and data manipulation. Test data loading into target systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency in the final destination. Perform data quality checks on transformed data using SQL queries to identify discrepancies or errors. API Testing: Design and execute test cases for API functionalities, including GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE requests. Validate API response data for accuracy, format, and compliance with specifications. Perform stress and load testing on APIs to assess performance under high traffic conditions. Integrate API testing with other system components to ensure seamless data flow. Utilize API testing tools to automate test execution and reporting.
