Location - Bangalore Notice period - Immediate to 30 days Key responsibilities---- Senior QA within a Software Engineering team involved in the development of web based pricing applications. Creation of Test plans and test cases (manual and automated) Test execution, results evaluation, performance testing, defect management etc. Build automation test framework for application using automation test tools. Responsibility for Data Quality. Ensures product achieves compliance with functional and non-functional requirements. Takes ownership of the QA tasks within the SCRUM team. Designs test cases in conjunction with the requirements from the Product Owner ensuring that Acceptance Criteria is defined and verified. Work closely with the development team to triage, analyze, debug and resolve any issues. Participates in all Scrum ceremonies including planning, refinement and demos. Essential Skills---- · Experience in test estimations, test plan creation, execution and reporting. · Strong automation experience in Selenium using Java. Understand what areas of testing can be automated, develop and execute an automation strategy. · Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Comfortable querying Databases. · Excellent analytical skills. · Strong attention to detail. · Good time management and prioritization skills. · Have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. · Excellent communication skills through English. Desirable (but not Essential) Skills----- GitHub MS SQL Server MS Excel Cucumber a big plus JMeter or equivalent performance testing framework is a big plus Experience in testing financial applications.
