On National Girl Child Day, I take immense pride in the achievements of my daughter, Aditi.
From the very beginning, I have always treated her with the same respect and encouragement as I would with a son, and today, I stand in awe of how she has carried forward my footsteps with grace and determination. Her journey in politics has been nothing short of remarkable.
As the Women and Child Development Minister, Aditi led the implementation of the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana, the largest DBT scheme for women in the country, providing direct benefits to about 2.5 crore women across Maharashtra. This transformative initiative is not only empowering the daughters and sisters of the state but is also making a tangible difference in their lives, uplifting them and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
On this National Girl Child Day, I celebrate my daughter Aditi and all the girls who inspire change, break barriers, and redefine possibilities. Together, we continue the journey of empowerment, equality, and progress for our daughters.
