For the first time in Karnataka, the Karnataka Media Academy is organizing a state-level photography competition and exhibition exclusively for news photographers from across the state. The top three selected photographs will be awarded cash prizes of: ₹35,000 for the first prize, ₹25,000 for the second prize, ₹15,000 for the third prize Participants must submit a certification letter from the editor of the newspaper they are working for as a news photographer or a certified copy of their Accreditation Card issued by the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Karnataka.
