The entire Amendment Act itself is a violation against basic fundamental rights guaranteed under the Indian Constitution. Further when an MLA or MP was found guilty for an offence more than 2 years shall only be disqualified to contest in any election for 6 years but an advocate found guilty for offence punishable more than 3 years shall be removed from the State Bar Council and if the offence is punishable below 5 years he may apply to the concern State Bar Council after serving 2 year's of the punishment again it's the discretion of the State Bar Council to Allow such applications.
