The *Bar Council of India (BCI)* has introduced *new and stricter guidelines for LLB students.*
As per these rules, *students must maintain 75% attendance*.
If a student is employed, they will need to provide a valid *No Objection Certificate* (NOC). Additionally, colleges must report students' attendance and other related details to BCI, and only then will students receive their mark sheets and degrees.
This step has been taken to improve students' academic records and ensure their safety. Moreover, *during the admission process, students will undergo a background check to ensure that no criminal offenders are allowed to enter the LLB program.*
