*PRESS STATEMENT FOR REGISTRATION OF WASSCE AND BECE CANDIDATES* In a letter dated January 24, 2025, addressed to all Regional Directors of Education, the GES shared the examination schedules and called for timely preparation. ```The letter, signed by Prince Charles Agyemang-Duah, Director of the Schools and Instructions Division, stated that the BECE for school candidates will take place from June 9 to 16, 2025, while the WASSCE for school candidates will run from August 4 to September 19, 2025.``` The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will communicate the registration period to school heads at a later date. These officials are expected to inform heads of basic and senior high schools to ensure candidates are adequately prepared for the examinations.
