*One faq on Silage feeding* : How much silage is to be offered to a goat per day ? ........................................... # Silage is made generally with *cereal crops* only @ Hence it is *Non- legume* # Silage is *preserved green roughage* ( not fresh ) # It is *fermented* to acidic point under created *anaerobic conditions* # It can be offered *adlibiltum* if offered alone ( as much as s/g eats ) .. *But it is not sole / complete feed* # Silage shall be mixed with *Concentrate feed* @ *3:2 or 3:1* and offered to sheep/ goats *adlibiltum* # Silage shall be mixed with *legume Roughages*@ 3:2 or 3:1 and can be given *adlibiltum* # The *best* is to make *TMR* ( Silage + Legumes + Conc.feed ) and offer *adlibiltum*
