A peaceful rally, themed "Peaceful Rally for Immediate Political Solution for Kuki-Zo," will be held on February 18, 2025, at 11 am in all Kuki-Zo inhabited areas. The rally, organized by the Kuki-Zo Council, aims to bring attention and expedite the Kuki-Zo demand for a separate administration in the form of a Union Territory with a legislature under article 239A of the constitution. _In Lamka, the rally will commence at 11 am at two starting points-one at Rengkai Community;Hall and Koite Playground-and will conclude at Tuibuong's Wall of Remembrance, where a public meeting will take place._ *Important Instructions:* The rally will be a silent rally, promoting peace and non-violence. All media houses are welcome to cover the event. All shops along the routes are requested to remain closed during the rally (between 11 am and 2 pm). Vehicles are not allowed to pass through the routes during the rally (between 11 am and 2 pm). Dress code is preferably black.
