Two people were killed while 15 others were injured when the rear tyre of a Nissan Caravan kombi burst. The Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed the tragic accident which happened at the 156 kilometre peg along Harare-Masvingo Road “The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on 15/02/25 at around 0630 hours at the 156 kilometre peg along Harare-Masvingo Road, Chivhu.” The kombi which was carrying 17 passengers veered off the road before overturning and landing on its roof. “Two people were killed while 15 others were injured when the rear tyre of a Nissan Caravan kombi burst. Subsequently, the kombi veered off the road before overturning and landing on its roof. The kombi was carrying 17 passengers. The injured victims were taken to Chivhu General Hospital for treatment. The bodies of the victims were taken to Chivhu General Hospital mortuary for post mortem while the injured were admitted at the same hospital. In a separate accident, 3 people died and several others were injured after a Mandaza Bus travelling from Gutu collided with a Glen View 2 High School bus 10km before Beatrice.
