Following an explosive exchange between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an Oval Office meeting, Trump released a statement on his TruthSocial platform, saying that Zelenskyy was "not ready for peace" as long as the US was involved.
Trump also accused Zelenskyy of disrespecting America in its Oval Office, adding that the Ukrainian president could return when he was ready for peace.
As a result, the joint press conference between the two leaders was cancelled.
