Spray mops are almost synonymous with the Swiffer WetJet, and for some, “Swiffer” is another way to say “expensive garbage generator.” The company's single-use pads and detergent bottles do create a prodigious pile of trash over time. If the landfill contributions don’t bother you, the recurring costs might.
