The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services that power our applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express and Nest.js frameworks). Work with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and optimize queries. Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments in containerized environments. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements: 4+ years of professional experience in backend development. Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express and Nest.js. Knowledge of TypeScript. Solid experience with PostgreSQL and other relational databases. Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools. Knowledge of RESTful API design and development. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of software development best practices, including testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of microservices architecture.
