The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development, with a solid understanding of database management, cloud services, and microservices architecture. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You will: · Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture · Develop, maintain, and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot). · Implement business logic, database interactions, and security features. · Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability · Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). · Write efficient queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies. · Integrate with third-party services, APIs, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Active Directory). · Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance with industry standards. · Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding web applications. · Participate in requirements analysis. · Write unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and perform code reviews to maintain quality.. · Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. · Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. · +2 years professional experience in Java (8/11/17+), Spring boot (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data). · Experience with RESTful API development & Microservices architecture. · Database expertise in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). · Knowledge of authentication & security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS). · Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). · Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). · Strong knowledge with experience in SDLC, OOP, SOLID Design Principles. · Strong knowledge with experience in Clean Architecture and Design Patterns. · Solid knowledge on Agile methodology and practices (SCRUM). · Experience in writing unit tests and modern testing frameworks for both frontend and backend testing. · Familiarity with code versioning tools using git. · Design and developing applications for a multi-tenant distributed environment. In Addition: · Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. · Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. · Familiarity with Human-Computer Interaction. · Sense of ownership and pride in your performance. · Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. · Team player. · Good time-management skills.
