Responsibilities: Develop a proxy service to convert HTTP API requests to HTTPS. Integrate and sync data between an external API and Shopify API (Add, Edit, Read operations). Handle JSON data transformation and API authentication. Deploy and manage the API proxy on AWS (Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, or Fargate). Implement error handling, logging, and security best practices. Automate syncing between APIs in real-time or at scheduled intervals. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience with HTTP, HTTPS, and API proxying. Proficiency in JSON data processing and request/response handling. Expertise in Shopify API (REST & GraphQL). Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployment (Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch). Programming skills in Python, Node.js, or Go (or another backend language for APIs). API authentication knowledge (OAuth, API Keys, JWT). Experience with automation and background jobs for syncing data. Nice to Have (Bonus Skills): Experience with serverless architecture on AWS (Lambda, Fargate). Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, AWS ElastiCache). Understanding of API performance optimization techniques.
