Facing backlash over its handling of the case, #kiituniversity in Bhubaneswar has terminated 2 security staff after the suicide of a 20-year-old Nepalese student on February 15. This comes after #odisha govt took a strong note of the “physical assault and racial behaviour” by the staff of the university against students from #nepal who had been protesting against the suicide.
