Including earth, water, fire, air, and space, there are 36 elements leading up to Shiva. Just as everything exists within space, the Shiva principle permeates all. Shiva is Chidakasha (the infinite consciousness) and Mahakaal (the grand Time), the Lord of space and time, yet beyond them.
The present is not just a fleeting moment; it is vast and deep, containing the past, present and future. In deep meditation, where space and time dissolve, one experiences this timeless infinity—the Shiva principle.
