With a view to connecting its final-year students with leading employers from diverse sectors, and helping businesses meet their workforce requirements, NUST Placement Office (NPO) held the highly anticipated "NUST Career Connect ’25 at the university’s main campus on Tuesday. The chief guest, Rector NUST Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif, inaugurated the event. He commended the industry for their overwhelming participation in the career fair to meet their human resource needs from a dynamic pool of NUST graduates. The Rector also emphasised the need to strengthen academia-industry linkages to nurture enduring and mutually beneficial partnerships. Over 2500 students from various NUST institutions availed the opportunity to interact with representatives from over 120 companies from various sectors. The event sponsors included PTCL/UFONE, Nestle, Jazz, Bestway Cement, Careem, Telenor Microfinance Bank, NADRA, Gaditek, Foodpanda, Reon Energy, Carbonteq, Wateen Telecom, and KIA Lucky Motors.
